About SanctScan

Sanctions screening without the enterprise sales funnel.

What SanctScan is

SanctScan is a self-serve sanctions screening platform: you check individuals and organizations against nine official sanctions lists — OFAC SDN, US Consolidated, EU, UK OFSI, UN, Australia DFAT, Swiss SECO, Canada GAC, and Japan MOF — and optionally keep them under continuous monitoring so a list update triggers an alert instead of going unnoticed. Every list is refreshed daily from the primary government source, never from resold aggregator data. Pricing is published on the pricing page, the free tier is real, and you can run your first screening without talking to anyone.

Who builds it

SanctScan is built by Arvin Wilderink, its founder, and is a trading name of A. Wilderink Beheer, registered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Every article on the blog is written and fact-checked against the primary sources it cites — OFAC guidance, EU regulations, OFSI notices — not paraphrased from other vendors' marketing.

You can reach Arvin on LinkedIn or by email at support@sanctscan.app.

Why it exists

Sanctions screening tooling has historically been sold top-down: opaque pricing, mandatory demos, annual contracts sized for banks. Small regulated businesses and solo compliance professionals have the same legal obligation to screen, with none of the budget. SanctScan exists to make the screening itself — the data quality, the matching, the monitoring — available at a price a small firm can justify, with the details visible before you pay.
